We're just a few friends who enjoy spending time together, cooking, and joking around. What better thing to do than open a new YouTube channel and having some fun, cooking up cuisine from around the world while we enjoy each other's company, and hopefully provide some comedic entertainment for the masses while they learn some cool recipes.

ABOUT US

A little explanation to who we are:

Igor and Jason met in high school almost 30 years ago, and have been close friends ever since.
They both have absolute love for cooking, and they got an idea to start a cooking show, so here we are.

Igor

Igor

Born and partially raised in Croatia, he moved to Canada in 1995, where after finishing school, he decided to become a professional truck driver, and has enjoyed this career for the past 25 years.

He grew up watching his mom cook meals, which looked like they were drawn by an artist, and tasted even better.

Igor's favourite style of cooking, as he calls it, is "blue-collar we don't have enough time to cook" type. This style of cooking enhances some pre-made foods to taste like entirely cook-from-scratch cooking, but is mostly prepared and cooked in under 45 minutes.
Reason for this style is due to the lack of time in Igor's busy schedule.

His favourite foods are made using some traditional Croatian processes, like cooking "ispod Peka", which is a very old type of oven-style cooking, using wood/charcoal on and around an iron dome, with food cooking inside it; rotisserie lamb; and pretty much anything  made on the barbeque.

Jason

Jason

Born and raised in Ontario, Jason has been a local boy his entire life, and food has always been at the center of it. Growing up, his Oma was the backbone of their kitchen,
an old-school cook who could feed an army.

Every summer she cooked for 11 house-keeping cottages, and during hunting season she’d prepare full meals for 32 hunters, all on one stove, in one kitchen, with everything ready at the same time. Homemade bread, pies, and full spreads... Every meal was a masterpiece.

That passion for cooking ran deep in his family, and even inspired his cousin to become a Red Seal chef, who has cooked for the Queen, and Elton John among others.

Later in life, when his father underwent triple bypass surgery and was advised to follow a Mediterranean, heart-healthy diet, he stepped up his own cooking game to make sure our household was eating well. Cooking for him is about tradition, care, and feeding people properly... body and soul.
